2. Pinky’s Los Feliz
The team behind Atrium welcomed this new nightlife destination in November 2019. Pinky’s, the brainchild of veteran Los Angeles restaurateurs Beau Laughlin and Jay Milliken, offers an immersive fete, transporting guests to a luxe tropical destination. With a bar program created by director-owner Jordan Young, the playful offerings are visually driven while remaining absolutely delightful. Los Feliz, pinkyslosfeliz.com
3. Bar Flores
Karla Flores-Mercado started a pop-up cocktail party six years ago, which, due to word of mouth and some press coverage, turned into a soiree that regularly hosted hundreds of guests. Now, the fete has a brick-and-mortar home that pays tribute to the founders’ grandmothers, and keeps the house rockin’ with a unique musical selection ranging from oldies to ranchera. Be sure to check out Discotera Thursdays, where a lineup of female DJs spin vinyl throughout the night. Echo Park, @barflores_la
