2.The Greek Theatre
Set within Griffith Park, the open-air Greek Theatre’s mountainside location is reason alone to visit. This fall, hear the soulful sounds of full band and rock orchestra Foreigner Orchestral (Oct. 1) or mellow out with indie folk artist Phoebe Bridgers (Oct. 21-22). Don’t forget to come hungry—The Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge Taqueria is serving up delectable burritos and beer. Los Feliz, lagreektheatre.com
3.The Ford
Moses Sumney
The Ford always offers a wide array of performances, and this fall is no different. ¡Viva la Tradición! México de Noche (Oct. 9) enchants the crowd with the music of Mexican nightlife, including all-female mariachi ensemble Las Colibrí and electric duo Pepe Martinez Jr. and Susie García. Instead of trick-or-treating, spend Halloween weekend with multidisciplinary storyteller Moses Sumney (Oct. 30-31), whose exploration of grayness gained attention from The New York Times. To round out the evening, bring a picnic or dig into dishes from plantbased Mexican restaurant Todo Verde. Hollywood, theford.com
4.The Wiltern
Leon Bridges.
Head to Koreatown to catch R&B singer Leon Bridges (Oct. 11) for a soulful evening complete with soothing sounds this autumn at The Wiltern. Adorned with 1931 art deco interiors, the romantic and timeless theater attracts performers from all over the globe. Complement the experience with the Underground Lounge, including early access and a private cash bar. Los Angeles, wiltern.com
