Since then, that partnership has only grown, with Coppola dressing actresses in CHANEL for films, wearing CHANEL on the red carpet, directing several creative campaigns for the brand and much more.

To celebrate her new book, Sofia Coppola Archive: 1999-2023, CHANEL invited a group of actors, musicians and Hollywood influencers to toast Coppola’s many achievements at Chateau Marmont. Guests, including Kristen Stewart, Priscilla Presley, Rashida Jones, Molly Shannon, Anjelica Huston and more tucked into Burrata di Bufala, herb-roasted chicken, Bolognese and berries and cream before Coppola greeted the crowd and thanked everyone for coming. She then introduced Princess, Maya Rudolph and Gretchen Lieberum’s Prince cover band, who dove into a surprise performance: Kirsten Dunst, Coppola, Elle Fanning and Dakota Fanning took up residence in the front row, where they danced the night away.
