Capri Gelato offering complimentary Gelato in-store over Labor Day Weekend in Marina del Rey
(LOS ANGELES, CA) Capri Gelato & Coffee Bar will be announcing some major news over Labor Day Weekend. To celebrate, they are treating all guests in Marina del Rey to a complimentary mini cup of their unique and homemade Passion Fruit Goat Cheese flavored gelato all weekend long.
“As the official end-of-summer approaches with Labor Day, we thought it would be a great time to give all guests the chance to try one of my favorite custom flavors, Passion Fruit Goat Cheese. I began my gelato-making career in Maui learning from 3rd generation gelato maker, Stefano Mosi. I’ve always loved to incorporate fresh produce and local flavors when possible, and the idea for this flavor came from a local goat farm in Maui that made a goat cheese mixed with passion fruit called Lilikoi Quark. The flavor is similar to a passion fruit cheesecake: a perfect balance of sweet, and sour yet still creamy. We release new flavors every Friday at the shop, but this flavor has stayed on the menu and become a hit with a following that includes celebrity chefs.”
