Did someone say yoga AND a good cause? Last month, Natalie Backman, founder of Imagine Fest, partnered with the Young Leaders Council to host a Yoga + Music + Conscious Conversation fundraising festival in an effort to unite the Yogi community in helping carry out Non-Profit Organization, Unlikely Heroes' mission of ending human trafficking. This Sunday funday was full of live music, yoga, meditation and powerful panel sessions aimed at creating social change. Guests danced and sang along to musical entertainment from performers like Maya Jupiter, Satsang, Tubby Love & Amber Lily; and Player Won. Apart from endless yoga-related activities and meditation to keep guests entertained and engaged, a wide array of artisanal vendors and food trucks were on site providing guests with a multitude of options to eat delicious, health conscious food and shop from local businesses. Discussion panels were held by a number of inspiring and thought-provoking leaders, including the founder of Unlikely Heroes, Erica Greve. This event significantly helped in supporting Unlikely Heroes' efforts in saving & restoring the lives of child victims of sex trafficking around the world as 100% of proceeds raised directly benefited the organization.
