The film, which, along with Stone, stars Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley and more, tells distinct stories of three individuals—a man who tries to take his own life, a police officer whose missing wife returns with a completely different personality, and a woman searching for someone with a specific ability.
