Balthazar Getty’s label Purplehaus hosted the release of its newest music project, Abstrakto at LA’s Cuban themed lounge, La Descarga. Getty was joined by bandmate and Grammy Award winning recording artist Asdru Sierra, along with Rosetta Getty, David Arquette, Liz Carey, Rain Phoenix, famed photog Michael Muller and more, for the first vinyl release with UK’s Vinyl Factory. Guests enjoyed signature cocktails provided by Aguila Real and a live set by the band. Purplehaus, the brainchild of Balthazar Getty, was conceived as a label and lifestyle brand that lives at the intersection of music, art, and fashion. Home to some of the most experiential music groups including Abstrako, Ringside, Solar Drive, and Balt Getty, Purplehaus truly runs the gamut of sounds and styles, including Latin afro-beat combined with early 90’s chord progressions and hard 808 drums.
