What’s your personal philosophy on photo booths and why every event should have one?
I believe photo booths are the most powerful way for guests to create and capture great memories from your event. By providing a fun and inviting space to engage with each other, guests are inspired to take photos that are often more fun, unique and memorable than the standard posed photo or group selfie—not to mention they are branded with your logo or event name to always link that memory back to your special event. Most important for me is to always make the experience as fun as possible with unique photo experiences, great staff, and of course funny props…nothing livens up a party quite like a rubber chicken! Bottom line: if we aren’t showing people a great time, we’re not doing our job.
What exciting and new technologies are you incorporating into your photo booths?
It’s important to keep innovating in order to keep the experiences fresh for our clients. One of the things I’m most excited about now is our super-unique roving photo booth! It’s a little droid that drives around your event via remote control and takes photos of guests all around your party. Guests don’t have to go find the photo booth…it comes to you! It’s a real head turner and people get curious and giddy when they see it rolling up. It also takes great photos and gifs complete with digital AR props, and can even handle wireless printing so it’s the whole photo booth experience in an irresistible mobile package. People love it!
What do you want people to know most about Foto Spark?
That we pride ourselves in being easy to work with, friendly, and reliable. It’s these kinds of intangibles that are hard to convey on a website, package list, and photos but they make all the difference in the world when it comes to the client experience and ultimate satisfaction. Events are stressful enough already, our mission is to make sure your photo booth rental is smooth and easy. It is something my 13 years in the business has taught me, and will always be my #1 pledge to our clients.
