More than 800 foodies and Angeleno readers flocked to the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows to celebrate sixteen years of Angeleno at the 13th annual Live
& Dine L.A. The city’s best chefs showcased their finest dishes under the Fairmont’s historic fig tree. Their inventive dishes were paired with cocktails created
by Black Lab Mixology and elit by Stolichnaya, Peroni beers and wines by Beringer. FIG Chef Yousef Ghalaini worked in conjunction with Beringer to pair two dishes with their exclusive wines in a private small tasting experience.
Guests got to peruse a living time capsule of the past sixteen years of Angeleno, with the best covers of the years past recreated by interior design and fashion
partners in mini-lounges throughout the event. Aaron Duke, Cantoni, Carl Hansen & Søn, Fernando Diaz, Gregor Gileta, Gulla Jonsdottir, Homeira Style, Michael
Berman, MM Interiors, Niche Beverly, Poltrona Frau, Roche Bobois and Room & Board brought out their most unique pieces to create living spaces that were
inspired by previous covers. Models donned looks by Battaglia, Choukair, J.D. Luxe, Jerell Scott, Nicole Miller, R&D and TAGS inside the spaces to bring
them to life.
Music from Macy Gray, DJ Zen Freeman and The Golden Coast All Stars kept people moving all afternoon. Partygoers got a prime view of the stage in the
Citibank deck and The Palazzo Las Vegas lounge. Evolue and exhale spa provided relief from the summer sun with a beauty lounge featuring makeup touchups, nail treatments and mini-massages. Smith of Partners Trust hosted a lounge for guests to relax and enter for a chance to win an overnight package from the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows.
Project Angel Food, the charity partner of Live & Dine LA, was on hand to sell their new delicious cookies, with proceeds benefitting their lifesaving mission of
feeding the sick.
