THE PARTY The Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association’s 42nd annual Beastly Ball THE PLAYERS Betty White, Jimmy Pardo, Connie Morgan THE HIGHLIGHTS Safari-clad partygoers had a roaring good time roaming the zoo while enjoying dinner and observing a few of the zoo’s inhabitants up close. Guests were invited to join for an awards ceremony, during which the Tom Mankiewicz Leadership Award was presented to actress Sarah Michelle Gellar. The event raised $1,120,000 for the nonprofit.
