Orange County’s gambling-loving guys—and a few gals—went all in at Pretend City Children’s Museum’s Poker Fundraising Event, held at the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach. The Las Vegas-themed evening included an outdoor cigar lounge and 16 poker tables filled with attendees such as Pretend City board chairman Bill Lyon and the night’s grand-prize winner Scott Gladstone, who landed a two-night stay at the Cosmopolitan Hotel and other perks. But he wasn’t the only winner; the event raised more than $50,000 for the museum’s annual fund, which provides educational programs and events, among other work. Viva, Las Vegas!
