“I wear pieces that combine luxury, quality and comfort,” says Lubov Azria, former chief creative officer of BCBGMAXAZRIA and wife of the late Max Azria, who passed away in May. “My style is a reflection of being a bohemian at heart—stylish yet effortless and with just a touch of the unconventional.” After stepping away from the brand in 2017, the longtime L.A. resident entered a phase of quiet reflection, preparing herself for her second act. Now, she has launched La Boheme, a line of chic, breezy separates inspired by travel and a carefree, avant-garde lifestyle. So where does Azria see herself jetting off to this fall? “Lisbon, Portugal, is a true mix of what makes a city great,” she explains. “It was the gateway city for many explorers to discover new lands, flavors and tastes from across the world, and it still holds true today.” Here, the designer shares her ultimate packing list.
