Bernie Brillstein Golf Classic

| October 24, 2014 | Parties

Hollywood talent, executives and influencers raised over $300,000 for Barlow Respiratory Hospital at the Bernie Brillstein Golf Classic on Monday, October 20th at Wilshire Country Club. Rob Lowe, Sean Hayes, Katharine McPhee, L.L. Cool J, and Johnny Mathis, along with Andrew Weitz, Lisa Gastineau and over 150 guests enjoyed a pink lit ballroom reception with dinner stations and cocktail hour filled with experiential silent auction items. Longtime client and friend Rob Lowe presented WME Partner and honoree Richard Weitz with the 2014 Bernie Brillstein Legacy Award at the evening reception, with touching words by Carrie Brillstein. “Richard exemplifies the extraordinary passion, leadership and vision reminiscent of what Bernie brought to the entertainment industry. We are thrilled to have Richard join us as we remember Bernie and recognize Richard for his efforts with this award,” said Carrie Brillstein, Chair, 4th Bernie Brillstein Golf Classic.

During the day, over 75 golfers swung for charity in the tournament, including Garrett Hedlund with golf teams from Lowe Group, Brillstein Entertainment, WME, Paramount and more; featuring an untouchable Mercedes-Benz hole-in-one prize, fun contests on the green, an on-course BBQ lunch and alcohol-infused all-natural gourmet ice cream & sorbet station from BuzzBar.
