Sometimes the best remedy to a bad mood is laughter. Thankfully, here in Los Angeles there are a wide range of famous comedy clubs with shows that can make anyone crack a smile.
8001 Sunset Blvd, 90046
The Laugh Factory is recognized as the No. 1 comedy club in America. It features some of the brightest emerging comedians and a long list of famous past performers. Some of these big name entertainers include Jim Carrey, Ellen DeGeneres, David Letterman, Jerry Seinfeld and Adam Sandler.
8433 Sunset Blvd, 90069
Started in 1972, The Comedy Store has an old timey comedy club interior. Illuminated with neon red lighting, the venue has a sexy feel that adds to the ambiance. The line-up is always full of hilarious comedians and the club has a long history of hosting performances by iconic entertainers.
2511 Wilshire Blvd, 90057
Open for less than five years, Dynasty Typewriter at the Hayworth Theater has quickly become one of Los Angeles’ top locations for curated shows. Offering a variety of immersive entertainment including live podcasts, music and film screenings, this venue really has it all. However, their biggest sets are their comedy shows, boosting an already impressive list of famous comedians that have preformed on their stage.

Largo at the Coronet is known for their welcoming family environment and their hilarious comedy sets. Make sure to get there a little early to explore some of the delicious restaurants near the venue. Only beer and wine are served at the shows, but the seats are so relaxing you won’t want to get up.

Starting as an improv and comedy workshop in 1972 and slowly shifting to hosting their own shows, The Groundlings Theatre & School has an impressive history of comedy. Not only have they helped struggling comedians perfect their craft, but they offer Angelenos amazing sets. If you are not interested in going to comedy school, you definitely have to check out their future line-ups because they always bring fresh and hilarious faces to their stage.

Offering a delicious menu, Hollywood Improv is a part of a chain of venues around America. Founded in 1963 in New York by improv inventor Budd Friedman, these clubs have slowly spread out to Hollywood and become a staple in many comedians lives. Their stage has been graced by some of the best of the best comedians in America and even by Robin Williams himself, who was a huge supporter of improv.

The Ha Ha Comedy Club will have you leaving in tears of laughter. With an impressive line-up full of hysterical comedians, this venue won’t disappoint. They even have a full bar and Mexican grill that are the perfect addition to these experiencing these performances.
