As Los Angeles’ newest arena, Intuit Dome is going big for its grand debut with back-to-back performances by Bruno Mars. Read on for everything you need to know about attending the shows.
Before it becomes the home of the Los Angeles Clippers, Bruno Mars will christen the Intuit Dome stage with the arena’s first-ever performances on Aug. 15 and 16. The show begins both nights at 8 p.m.
The bag policy at Intuit Dome is even more scaled back than most arenas and venues around Los Angeles. Aside from medical and childcare exceptions, you can only bring in a personal clutch that is sized up to 4” x 6” x 1.5.” In other words, just bring the essentials. It’ll make it easier for a fun night of dancing anyway.
Before heading out the door, you’ll want to be sure to have a few things downloaded to your phone. Firstly, Intuit Dome is a cashless venue that requires each person to have a ticket on their own phone. You can do that by downloading the Intuit Dome app. For tickets, whoever made the purchase, they can assign each one to a member of your party. When completing your profile on the app, you can opt for Game Face ID (which involves uploading a selfie so you can enter through the Zoom Thru entrance) or Identity Pass (which requires just a tap upon entry). Then, you’ll want to be sure to upload a form of payment to the app if you plan to make any retail or concession purchases. That way, when you’re grabbing t-shirts or loading up on snacks and beverages, you’ll be able to enter and exit the respective areas smoothly.
After finalizing the pre-arrival process, decide on your commute plan. If you choose to drive, you’ll want to buy a parking pass as soon as possible. You may also be able to find offsite parking at a nearby lot day of, but that may require a bit of a walk. If you opt for a rideshare service like Alto or Uber, map your drive to the Intuit Dome Mobility Hub at the East Garage (3700 W Century Blvd 90303).
There will be plenty of concessions at Intuit Dome whether you’re looking for a full meal, quick snack or beverage. However, there is also a great lineup of nearby restaurants if you have time for a full dinner before the show. Consider Calo Kitchen, 1010 Wine & Events, Dulan’s or Cork & Batter for your pre-concert feast. See our full list of nearby recommended restaurants.
Much of Bruno Mars’ performances this year have been for his Las Vegas residency or at international venues, so we’re excited to see what he brings to Los Angeles. Known for being a showman with party-favorite tracks, both concerts will no doubt be full of high energy, lots of dancing, captivating production and surprises. Based on recent sets in Mexico and Vegas, attendees will likely be treated to a 20-song-plus setlist that covers his multi-decade career, solo hits, Silk Sonic work and more with songs like “Finesse, “Treasure,” “When I Was Your Man” and “Uptown Funk.”
Intuit Dome is located at 3930 W Century Blvd 90303.
