California Style Week, presented by Fashion Week Haus from August 1 to 4, 2024, was a vibrant celebration of California’s blend of fashion, philanthropy and innovation. The event kicked off with a digital silent auction benefiting The Cause Connection, featuring items such as a coveted seven-night Park City getaway before a star-studded gathering at Sushi Roku and B.O.A. Steakhouse to mark the start of the week.

The week’s highlight was the spectacular outdoor runway shows at Manhattan Village Plaza. Top brands, including Vans, Faherty, Amour Vert, Wilson, Rowan and Eclai, showcased their latest collections. Guests enjoyed creative pop-ups like the Vans Paint Your Path experience and beauty trials from MAC, all while sipping Los Sundays tequila seltzers under the Los Angeles sun.

“California Style Week was a resounding success, showcasing the innovative spirit and diverse styles that make California a global trendsetter,” said Cachita Maki, CEO of Fashion Week Haus. The event was not only focused on the latest in fashion but also on empowerment and philanthropy. At EmpowHER Happy Hour, Maki gathered like-minded women entrepreneurs, designers and influencers to celebrate women-owned businesses.
Under Maki’s guidance, the event supported charitable causes such as The Cause Connection’s Shop It Forward fundraiser and Anthropologie’s jean drive. These efforts emphasized fashion’s role in making a positive community impact, demonstrating that California Style Week was a platform for both style and social good.
