After years of doling out SoCal-centric style advice, Carlota Espinosa and Kelly Lynch recently launced LACaKe, a lifestyle site devoted to everything they’re crushing on. “We want LACaKe to be a place where you can discover new and exciting things, be it fashion, home, beauty decor... the list just goes on,” explains Hollywood Hills-based Espinosa, a former television producer and co-founder of HauteLook. Lynch’s 40-plus years of acting and modeling have been perfect training for this tastemaker role. “I’ve been lucky to know and work with some of the most talented people in the fashion, beauty and entertainment businesses,” says the Los Feliz resident, who lives in a John Lautner home with her husband, writer-producer Mitch Glazer. “It felt right and fun to join forces with my behind-the-camera bestie to share some of the tricks of the trade we’re both privileged to know.” Here, Espinosa and Lynch reveal their style picks for the season.
