All your springtime and Coachella festival essentials are coming to you all at one ideal location.
You can find Luxury Parisian label Casablanca and Maxfield Los Angeles’s epic Desert Phantastica collection at the Maxfield Gallery on Melrose Avenue, open now until May 3.
The pop-up was especially designed to bring together the serenity and charm of the Palm Springs desert, while the gallery was revamped to intertwine the components of architecture and nature.
An installation set, a nod to the Memphis Milano design movement of the '80s, is set with sharp yellow and blue archways to honor the creative director Charaf Tajer’s Moroccan background.
You can see the collection of Casablanca’s elegant silk and knit designs displayed beautifully throughout the store calling your name.
The 50-piece collection, featured at the pop-up just in time for Coachella, was inspired by living a life of luxury in Palm Springs and contrasted by Casablanca’s spirited insight.
Quaint hand-crafted prints fed with bright colorful hues were produced purposefully by house artisans and give off the joyful energy of summertime on a pleasant sunny day.
Contrastingly, hand-crocheted and lightweight knitwear are included for those airy desert nights.
The tennis club Cuban shirt, sweatshirt, silk shorts and robe relay a fun, chaotic design with palm trees, butterflies and vibrant colors, while the Palm Springs blue trim Cuban shirt and silk shorts present a more classic white design with hints of sky blue.
The rainbow crochet dress, top and matching pants with delightful pastel colors are built entirely in a multicolored cotton yarn with a wave pattern.
Two silk Casablanca shirts, the ping pong shirt that features a graphic floral print and the soleil levant shirt set with a multicolored brand original print, are ideal to throw over an outfit at night or as a cover up when you head out to the pool.
When you’re making a bold statement and rocking these outfits Casablanca has you set with accessories too like towels, hats and bikinis that will pair perfectly with the Casablanca look.
To understand how Casablanca makes such meaningful pieces, they team up with artisans from all over the world and make it their mission to put an emphasis on the importance of beauty for generations to come. Excellence and optimism have their name written all over it as they promote their holistic approach to design and craftsmanship.
