Following a dazzling transformation, CHANEL reopens its Beverly Hills boutique, bringing a sense of discovery and wonder to Rodeo Drive.

The fully reimagined and expanded CHANEL boutique has finally arrived in Beverly Hills. Spanning more than 30,000 square feet and rising four stories above Rodeo Drive, the Peter Marino-designed space is officially the largest CHANEL boutique in the U.S. and a complete expression of the house’s storied world.

After passing through the exterior—an abstracted staggered cube design—customers are enveloped by a pure white space, where a multistory glass atrium resides, allowing California sunshine to stream in. On the main level, fine jewelry, bags, fragrances and other accessories are displayed in delicate vitrines and cases. The house’s iconic two-tone motif is seen in contrasting materials: cast bronze and white plaster; dark tables made from petrified wood and resin by Ado Chale and Jean-Claude Dresse. Hovering above is the stunning pearl-like “Golden Lasso” sculpture by French artist Jean-Michel Othoniel that stretches from the ceiling to the first floor.
Visitors will find shoes and ready-to-wear on the second floor and on the third, dressing rooms and two VIP suites. A rooftop garden and penthouse comprise the fourth floor, where guests can take in views of the garden courtyard to Rodeo Drive and the city beyond.

Creative director Virginie Viard’s Spring-Summer 2023 Ready-to-Wear collection—pastel tweeds, short coat dresses, delicate evening dresses and more—inspired by the 1961 surrealist film Last Year at Mairenbad, for which Gabrielle Chanel designed most of the costumes—will be available, along with a large selection of Haute Joalillerie and Haute Horlogerie creations. As well, four collections exclusive to the boutique mark the reopening, including a high jewelry capsule collection titled ‘Beverly Hills,’ The Monsieur watch Beverly Hills Edition, a butterfly-shaped pair of sunglasses and two nail polishes, Fast Car (a bright red) and Denim (a California blue).
Timed to coincide with the Cruise 2023/24 presentation in Los Angeles, the store’s May opening marks CHANEL’s everpresent hold on the City of Angels. As the brand continues flourishing in L.A. and beyond, we can’t wait to see what comes next. chanel.com
