Whether your family likes to make Christmas Eve dinner the premier event of the holiday season or you’re looking to make Christmas Day extra special, a festive meal with your loved ones is the way to go. Check out below all the fantastic restaurants open for the holidays.
The Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills’ signature restaurant welcomes guests for an eight-course dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. The chef’s holiday tasting menu includes toasted egg yolk, black truffle and hamachi toast, parmesan risotto, Icelandic cod, soy-glazed short rib and more. Starts $260, $75 per child
This is more than just dinner. From 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m, Wolfgang Puck’s flagship restaurant is celebrating with “Santa Sisters” holiday carolers, a winter wonderland and 3-course prix fixe menu full of seasonal choices. The festivities kick off the moment you walk through the door as each guest is welcomed with a glass of Ca’Del Bosco. $195, $75 per child
From 7 p.m. to 10:30 pm., make spirits bright with this special three-course prix fixe menu accompanied by live music. THEBlvd Christmas Eve dinner will include options of chestnut soup, warm California goat cheese crottin fritter or chicken liver mousse for to begin; lamb loin, ribeye cap, wasabi-crusted petite filet or pan-seared bass for main entree and chocolate atlas or yuzu meringue pie for dessert. The Beverly Wilshire restaurant will also offer guests to enhance their dinner with a seafood platter, caviar, champagne or grilled lobster tail. $145, $70 per child

Opt for a holiday gathering under the direction of Wolfgang Puck standards. This prix fixe menu offers the choice of rib eye, filet, duck breast or rotisserie for the main course. $225, $75 per child
The Waldorf’s al-fresco dining hotspot will offer brunch, lunch and dinner from Christmas Eve through Dec. 26 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Head over for their unbeatable a-la carte menu and special festive additions. Varies
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., ring in the holiday with a delicious family-style brunch. Menu highlights include scallop and truffle tartare, butternut squash soup, slow-baked salmon, roasted duck breast, sauteed bloomsdale spinach, panna cotta with citrus and more. Starts $260, $75 per child
Head to THEBlvd at any time of day (11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.) on Dec. 25 to delight in their three-course prix fixe menu. Options mirror their Christmas Eve selections, but dessert features the choice of a salted caramel and milk chocolate semifreddo or a coconut panna cotta. Live music will be played from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. $125, $60 per child
If you plan to be near L.A. Live, the JW Marriott’s Savoca will offer guests a special selection of a la carte menu items, including gingerbread creme brulee and two Christmas roast choices: vegetarian Chateaubriand or rack of lamb. Varies
