This past Friday, Clarins traveled back to a time when bold colors, bling and bubblegum pop were all the rage. Aside from the stunning private Beverly Crest mansion decked out with pink decor, balloons and early 2000s-themed light bites, the brand brought out Y2K icon Christina Aguilera to perform for the night, even playing her 1999 hit song, “What a Girl Wants.”

The star-studded list of influencers, celebrities and industry professionals celebrated Clarins’ most recent launch, Multi-Active, a product line targeting signs of aging with cutting-edge ingredients such as niacinamide and sea holly extract. The product not only made adorable party decor but was also used at the event’s hand massage station for guests to experience it directly.
Some of the early 2000s biggest stars were in attendance for the occasion. Lindsay Lohan, seen in decade-defining films Mean Girls, Freaky Friday and many more, looked elegant in a two-piece baby pink dress suit with stilettos and a bag to match.

Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin also stepped into the spotlight in honor of Clarins’ new launch, looking cute together on the red carpet. Other stars that caught the camera’s attention were Madison Pettis in a purple-and-pink rhinestone co-ord and Keleigh Teller in a posh white wrap dress and a classic red lip.

When partygoers weren’t busy drinking blush-colored cocktails and flipping through Y2K magazines, their cameras were out capturing the moody atmosphere and on-theme outfitting; think denim on denim, tube tops, mini skirts, low-rise pants and plenty of bedazzling.

The crowd gathered close for Aguilera’s intimate performance with a full band and backup dancers, lighting up the backyard with nostalgia and excitement for the brand. She even shouted out Clarins’ female-empowering initiatives and International Women’s Month during her powerful set.
