The Coachella lineup is finally here.
For days, artist names have been swirling, with headliners Ye (Kanye West), Billie Eilish and Harry Styles confirmed in advance by a number of outlets. Now future desert dwellers can rejoice in what is sure to be a stacked weekend.
Harry Styles will close out the first night, followed by Billie Eilish on Saturday. Already having cemented a special reputation at the festival on Sundays, Ye will close out the entire Coachella weekend. With the time slots yet to be released, it is not yet clear what day Swedish House Mafia will perform. The group was the first act to be confirmed for the 2022 lineup.

Coachella was the first major festival to be cancelled as a result of the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. After continual postponement, Goldenvoice indefinitely pushed the event until festivals started regularly happening again last summer.
Three years after it was announced Frank Ocean, Rage Against the Machine and Travis Scott would headline, the new lineup reflects an almost entirely new slate. Given the genre stylings of the 2022 trio, it is the first year in recent memory that Coachella didn’t devote one of the primary slots to a major rock act.
Highlights from the first day include Phoebe Bridgers, Louis the Child, City Girls, Carly Rae Jepsen and Big Sean, while day two will feature Flume, Megan Thee Stallion, Danny Elfman, Giveon, Brockhampton, girl in red, Conan Gray, Caroline Polacheck, Japanese Breakfast, Turnstile and Rina Sawayama. The final day includes Doja Cat, Jamie xx, Run the Jewels, Maggie Rogers, Ari Lennox, Orville Peck and beabadoobee. Finneas will likely pull double duty with sister Eilish’s performance on Saturday and his solo spot on Sunday.
Coachella takes place April 15-17 and April 22-24 at the Empire Polo Club fields in Indio, Calif. For those looking to attend the first weekend, you’ll need to join the waitlist, while registration for tickets to the weekend two presale is open now.
