The long-awaited return of everyone’s favorite desert festival is finally underway, and the unforgettable experiences have so far been seemingly endless.
In case you missed it or want to relive it, we’ve captured the nine most memorable moments from the first weekend of Coachella 2022. It's been simply magical so far, and here's the proof.

We would have been content just getting to hear Daniel Caesar debut his unreleased song “Please Do Not Lean” on Friday night, but when he proceeded to bring out a shirtless Justin Bieber, our jaws dropped to the floor. Their hit single “Peaches” never ceases to get the crowd going. If only Giveon could have been there.
We were not expecting Styles to strut out on stage in a Gucci sequin one-piece, but after he did, we wondered how there ever was a Coachella without him. During his first Coachella headline set, Styles treated the audience to two unreleased songs off his upcoming album Harry’s House; “Late Night Talking” and “Boyfriends.” He also brought out surprise guest star Shania Twain. The two stars gave a magical performance and shared a sweet moment where Styles revealed how influential Twain’s music was to him growing up.
Megan Thee Stallion dropped all your favorite girl power songs like “Thot Shit,” “WAP,” “Body,” “Hot Girl Summer” and “Savage.” Better yet, she sang “To Whom The F*** It May Concern,” an unreleased song that fans are now begging for her to release.
Becoming the youngest artist ever to headline Coachella, 20-year-old Eilish never ceases to amaze with her out-of-this-world voice and numerous hit songs. To add to her even more amazing performance, Eilish was joined on-stage by Khalid, Damon Albarn and De La Soul’s Posdnuos—as well as her usual brother and producer Finneas. The audience was feeling “Happier than Ever” as they witnessed the pop-star do what she does best.
Karol G could have used the entire length of her set to perform her smash-hit songs that fans adore. Instead, she dedicated time to cover hit songs by Latino artists who didn’t get the chance to perform at Coachella. With songs by Selena, Ricky Martin, Celia Cruz, Daddy Yankee, Shakira, Luis Fonsi and J Balvin, Karol G left a memorable mark on her audience—not to mention Tiesto and Becky G when made an appearance and grooved right alongside her.
As a tribute to the band's upcoming and indefinite hiatus, scheduled to begin after weekend two of Coachella comes to an end, the hip-hop boys sported matching letterman jackets that read “All good things must come to an end.” It’s okay if you shed a tear or two during the bittersweet moment the band told us it would release a final album in 2022, because we did too.
Putting a performance together in two weeks time to fill the void left by Kanye West pulling out of headlining Coachella, you would have never guessed the co-headliners’ dilemma. The Weeknd proved to everyone that he deserved his second Coachella headline set, sharing old hits we cherish and new hits we worship. However, when Swedish House Mafia accompanied him for “Moth to a Flame,” we were so grateful the trio was back in business after five years of silence.
This country singer didn’t even need his gold leather ensemble with a matching gold microphone to make him look like a star. Peck brought the Gobi tent to life with several songs from his second album Bronco, and his single “Dead of Night” that premiered on HBO’s Euphoria. Country music should be filling out thank you cards to Peck, because we can’t wait for Stagecoach.
During Anitta’s performance, it was hard to tell whether you were at Coachella or involved in a dance flash mob. Accompanied by a large group of dancers, Anitta flaunted her Brazilian roots and brought out surprise star guests Snoop Dogg, Saweetie and Diplo. She even performed her dance that went viral on TikTok, which made the fans go wild.
