Come Hungry

| January 3, 2013 | Parties

The Party Carole Bayer Sager celebrated the opening night of her latest show, New Works, at the William Turner Gallery in Bergamot Station, followed by an intimate dinner at The Buffalo Club. The Players Rita Wilson, José Eber, Robert Daly, Dustin Hoffman, Jaclyn Smith, David Geffen The Highlights If attendees didn’t arrive hungry, they certainly left with a rumble in their bellies following the debut of contemporary realist Bayer Sager’s food-themed series. Oversized oil paintings of favorite American fare, ranging from a peanut butter and jelly sandwich (“Kid’s Delight”) to an ear of corn dripping in butter (“Corny”), drew the attention—and whetted the appetites—of friends and fans who gathered to celebrate the songwriter turned painter’s second show. And in keeping with the evening’s scrumptious scheme, popcorn was indeed served. Photos courtesy of Breeze Munson
