Concierge Dinner with Black Exclusive

Angeleno magazine and Black Exclusive hosted an exclusive private dinner for some of the city's finest concierges from Beverly Hills, Century City and West Hollywood at Chef Jason Park's highly anticipated new restaurant, Maru, opening on the Westside this fall. Chef Park impressed concierges from the Beverly Wilshire, SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills, Four Seasons Los Angeles, Hotel Bel-Air, L'Ermitage Beverly Hills, The Beverly Hilton, Sofitel Los Angeles, Montage Beverly Hills and the InterContinental Century City with a ten-course dining experience. Park's innovative menu at Maru highlights his expertise in combining French and Japanese techniques and utilizing only fresh farmers market driven produce. Menu highlights included dishes such as: sea scallop and pea ravioli served in a tahitian vanilla sauce, with micro cilantro and pickled jalapeno; skate served with Okinawan sweet potato and preserved ginger gastrique; and also Shima Aji Sashimi served with chopped wasabi root, citrus vinaigrette, dried aka-jiso and black salt. Master mixologist Matthew Biancaniello created inventive cocktail pairings with exotic ingredients and Blue Ice Vodka. Guests also enjoyed a couple of dinner courses with Tanner DaFoe's exclusive boutique red wines.
