Tropical halterneck swimsuit with hoop, $450, and acrylic Ark bag in tortoise, $358, both at cultgaia.com.
Best known for creating the trendsetting Ark bag, L.A.-based Cult Gaia has added a swimwear collection to its growing list of offerings, right in time for summer. The label, named for Mother Earth, has collaborated with Brazilian luxury beachwear designer Adriana Degreas on a 21-piece line. Cleverly placed appliques and a macaw-headed-woman print play to the tropical surrealism that sparked the sultry cutout one-pieces, barely-there bikinis and glam cover-ups. “I’ve been eager to offer the Gaia girl swimwear as a beautiful way to complement our resort-inspired collections,” says founder Jasmin Larian on Cult Gaia’s first co-branded endeavor. “Our woman is always traveling and needs the perfect swimsuit to complete her look. We’re so excited to debut [it] with such an incredible design-minded partner.”
