Def Leppard and Journey have been traversing North American stadiums in the name of rock ‘n’ roll this summer. Up next, Los Angeles will greet the double-billed tour at Sofi Stadium. Read on for everything you need to know about attending the show.
The Basics
Def Leppard and Journey will perform on Aug. 25 at Sofi Stadium. You can arrive in the parking lots as early as 3 p.m. with venue doors opening at 4:30 p.m. At 6 p.m., music will begin with the Steve Miller Band.
Bag Policy
Sofi Stadium has a clear bag policy and allows clear bags as big as 12” x 6” x 12” as long as it’s clear. Additionally, you can opt for a non-clear clutch if it’s 4” x 6” or smaller.
Arrival
If you prefer to park on-site, buy a parking pass as soon as possible because pricing increases on show day. Alternatively, if you commute via a rideshare service like Alto or Uber, be sure to go to the designated drop-off and pick-up locations. For arrival, head to the northbound curb lane on Kareem Court. Then, pick-up after the show is at Kareem Court and Manchester Boulevard. Lastly, if you choose public transit, take the Metro C line to the Hawthorne/Lennox station.
Where To Eat
Sofi Stadium has an excellent food and beverage lineup if you prefer to worry about fueling up for the concert after getting there. Concession stands can be all throughout and each one is inspired by different areas of Los Angeles. Depending on which place you order from, you can feast on the likes of birria nachos and chicken tenders. On the other hand, if you have extra time before the concert, consider stopping at a nearby restaurant on the way to the stadium, such as Calo Kitchen, Cork & Batter and Dulan’s. See our full list of nearby recommended restaurants.
What To Expect
Journey typically hits the stage around 7:30 p.m. for a 19-song setlist full of hits like “Open Arms,” “Don’t Stop Believin’” and “Any Way You Want It.” Then, Def Leppard takes on the crowd around 9:30 p.m. for an 18-song performance that will keep you dancing all night long. They kick things off with “Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop),” followed by “Armageddon It,” “Animal,” “Switch 625,” “Rock of Ages” and more. Finally, the encore seals the night with a bang with “Hysteria” and “Pour Some Sugar on Me.”
Sofi Stadium is located at 1001 S. Stadium Dr 90301.
