Dodgers fans celebrate during game 6 of the Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Tampa Bay Rays World Series on October 27, 2020 in Los Angeles.
Wine is officially making its way into the formerly beer-dominated world of the L.A. Dodgers with the upcoming release of two limited-edition Dodgers commemorative wines. Working with Woodbridge Wines, the official wine partner of the MLB, the Dodgers will welcome their new wine bottles to local retailers that carry Woodbridge Wines starting July 11.
Fans will be able to purchase these specialized wine bottles whether they prefer cabernet sauvignon or chardonnay.
In addition to being able to sip from home, Woodbridge wine is also available by the glass at Dodger Stadium for supporters to enjoy alongside hotdogs and other ballpark favorites.
The release of Dodgers wine comes just ahead of the iconic All-Star Week, which will take place from July 15 through July 19. Kicking off the week on the Santa Monica Pier, fans are encouraged to play games, do yoga, take pictures and check out All-Star sand sculptures. Throughout the rest of the week there are many more exciting events like a celebrity softball game, musical events and performances, a workout day, a red carpet show and more at Dodger Stadium and throughout the city.
The highly anticipated event will conclude with the 92nd annual MLB All-Star Game on July 19. Airing live on Fox, the game begins at 4:30 p.m. PT and features baseball's greatest talent.
Coming off the loss of their relief pitcher, Daniel Hudson, the Dodgers could use extra support from their fans. But with a great season thus far, which has landed them the number one spot in their division, there’s a good chance we’ll be seeing the Dodgers make a run into playoff season.
