The Village Family Services, Co-Founded by Hugo Villa and Irma Seilicovich, hosted the 4th Annual “An Evening to Inspire”. More than two hundred guests were in attendance and dined on Asian inspired appetizers. They raised nearly $100,000 through live and silent auctions to support their programs that provide safety and permanency for children, youth and families in Southern California. In addition, the organization announced the Grand Opening of a transitional housing program in the San Fernando Valley, which will house six young men who are either exiting the foster care system or homeless. Other highlights included honoring former California State Senator Darrell Steinberg and Kaiser Permanente with the “Children’s Voice” awards. The event was sponsored by Kaiser Permanente, Angeleno magazine, A Thousand Joys, Ameriprise Financial, AXA Advisors, Enenstein Ribakoff LaViƱa & Pham, Harris Office Products, Keenan & Associates, Kennedy Wilson, NBC4 Southern California, Of One Mind, Wells Fargo and The Zeitlin Family Trust.
