Family Style Food Festival

Get your bellies ready: Family Style Food Festival is back.

Returning to Television City for a day of music, art, fashion and, yes, food, Family Style Food Festival takes place on Oct. 10. By prioritizing creation, collaboration and community, the family-oriented event believes in bringing people together through the collective love of food. In addition to endless cuisine offerings, families can enjoy a kids zone, a cooking competition and music, including sets by Soulection, Blondie Beach, Alexander Spit and Pedro.

What’s more, the immersive experience intersects the worlds of streetwear and the culinary industry. Family Style Food Festival’s selection of the hottest brands and designers is just as important as its curation of top-tier restaurants. Limited edition, collaborative merchandise is known to drop exclusively at the festival. So far, Off-White, Nike, Guess U.S.A., The Hundreds and Free & Easy have been confirmed as brand participants, with more to be announced closer to the weekend.

In addition, Family Style Food Festival is sponsored by Doordash and Crocs. This coincides with the launch of Sole of the Kitchen, a campaign that honors one of Los Angeles’ greatest forces: restaurant workers. In commemoration, Crocs is set to donate 10,000 pairs of Crocs to independent restaurants across the country. Festival attendees can participate by visiting Croc’s interactive booth at the festival and nominating their favorite restaurants to receive free Crocs.

"After the hard and devastating year the culinary community has experienced during Covid-19 we want to celebrate and honor all restaurants, chefs, and restaurant workers who worked on the front-line to serve our communities; this is for them,” said festival co-founder Miles Canares.

All attendees are required to either provide proof of full vaccination or a negative PCR COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event. Also while inside, guests must wear a mask that covers both nose and mouth.

Now to what you’ve been waiting for: the food lineup. The festival’s selection brings together Los Angeles’ most favored spots from across the city. You surely won’t want to miss out on shrimp tacos from Mariscos Jalisco or their exclusive collab with Roe Caviar. You’ll also have the chance to grub on arguably the city’s best soul food from Dulan’s or vegan finds from Crossroad’s Kitchen. Wash it all down with a cold brew from Fairfax favorite Cofax (and maybe with a side of a breakfast burrito). See the full culinary lineup below.
