UCLA’s Friends of the semel institute for neuroscience and human Behavior hosted their Food and Friends at Bouchon on April 9. The event included an elegant luncheon at Master chef Thomas Keller’s Beverly hills restaurant, Bouchon. Chef Keller was the star of the program as he stuck to The Friends' mission to educate the community by speaking out about how brain-healthy food can still be elegant and delicious. All proceeds from Food and Friends benefited the Friends’ scholar Grant Program that supports the work of brilliant young scientists doing state-of-the-art research to develop new and improved treatments for illnesses of the mind and brain.
