For Labor Day weekend, Hollywood Park is hosting a lineup of music’s most legendary artists. Read on for everything you need to know about Fool in Love.
Right next to the grounds of Sofi Stadium, Hollywood Park will host a one-day music festival called Fool in Love on Aug. 31.
With Lionel Richie and Diana Ross headlining, the festival will feature Nile Rogers & Chic, Al Green, Santana, Gladys Knight, Charlie Wilson, Chaka Khan, Dionne Warwick, The Emotions, The Commodores, Smokey Robinson, Mayer Hawthorne, Los Lobos, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, The Pointer Sisters, Baby Bash and more.
Similar to Sofi Stadium, you can only bring in a small clutch or fanny pack sized up to 6 ”x 9” or a clear bag smaller than 12” x 6” x 12.” Additionally, you can bring in a clear or non-clear hydration pack, but it must be empty and have no more than two pockets. You can also consider renting a locker for the day.
If you want to drive and park onsite (for which lots open at 10 a.m.), buy a parking pass right away. Spots are limited! Alternatively, those who choose rideshare services like Uber or Alto can be dropped off at 3801 Pincay Drive 90305, while pick-up after the festival is at the intersections Pincay Drive and Kareem Court or Yukon Avenue and 102nd Street. There will also be bike parking available in each parking lot; just be sure to bring your own lock.
Sure, festivals are about music, but the full experience isn’t complete without sampling the robust lineup of food and beverage vendors. Just remember: Fool in Love is cashless, so you’ll want to have a card or digital form of payment ready to go. However, if you prefer a pre-festival sit-down meal before spending the day in the sun, you can also consider stopping by Coni’Seafood, Sunday Gravy or Calo Kitchen, among other neighborhood eateries. See our full list of recommended nearby restaurants.
Fool in Love will take place from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. While we’re still waiting for the exact performance schedule, you can expect a fun day of music, food, community and good vibes. Be sure you’re dressed comfortably for a long, memorable day with legendary musicians.
Hollywood Park is located at 1001 S. Stadium Dr 90301.
