Ford Built: Tom Ford's new flagship store on Rodeo Drive

The Party: An intimate celebration in honor of Tom Ford’s first Los Angeles boutique opening as well as the launch of his women’s wear collection and his L.A.-inspired fragrance, Lavender Palm. The Players: Adrien Brody, Gina Gershon, Milla Jovovich, Anthony Kiedis, Kelly Lynch, Cheech Marin, Michelle Monaghan, Jacqueline Bisset, Catherine O’Hara, Terry Richardson, Alexander SkarsgĂ„rd, John Stamos, Valentino Garavani, Vidal Sassoon, Natalia Vodianova, Harvey Weinstein, Graydon Carter, Rachel Zoe, Rodger Berman. The Scene: Fashionistas and A-listers—all personal friends of Tom Ford—rubbed elbows in the dazzling new 9,200-square-foot flagship store, decked out for the opening with magnolia blossoms, white hydrangeas and gardenias. The crowd of VIPs also got a sneak peek at Ford’s highly anticipated women’s wear collection— which made its debut that evening—on the second floor. The One-Liner: “Tom Ford brings a level of sophistication and glamour that is palpable,” said Amber Valletta, who donned a Tom Ford dress for the occasion. “The store has a feeling of intimacy and fantasy all in one.”
