French Dressing

The Party
“I feel at home at the Chateau Marmont and connected to the French spirit,” said Evelyne Chetrite, Sandro founder and creative director, of the iconic hotel where she hosted an intimate alfresco dinner and party to celebrate the brand’s newest stores. Known for clean lines and refined menswear- inspired shapes paired with feminine fabrics, Sandro’s aesthetic matches L.A.’s laid-back yet smart sensibility. “There’s a mix of chic and cool styles that is very us and very L.A.,” mused Chetrite from the bungalow, transformed to look like a bohemian Parisian apartment for the evening.

The Scene
A select group of actors, musicians and writers sipped Champagne poolside before settling in for a candlelit meal. Between helpings of kale salad and roast chicken, guests chatted about everything from the latest headlines to Emmy Rossum’s glowing skin. Her secret? Facials at the Face Place in West Hollywood.

The Highlights
As dessert hit the table, indie band The Shoe’s frontwoman, Jena Malone, beckoned the beautiful crowd—including Paz de la Huerta, Jaime King and Emma Roberts—to sit and watch her captivating set. Later on, guests moved inside for an electrifying performance by Poli├ža, followed by DJ sets by Chris Holmes and Ana Calderon. –Photos by Donato Sardella/WireImage
