The only real luxury is time. This adage may be a pearly piece of wisdom, but it also channels the ethos of the recently opened Gearys Rolex Boutique on Rodeo Drive. Approaching nearly a century in the renowned shopping district, Gearys Beverly Hills has been an official Rolex retailer for decades. This new boutique only enhances its reputation for exemplary service.
Sprawling 6,200 square feet across three levels, the alluring marbled green storefront entices guests into a ground-floor space marked by a feature wall showcasing Rolex watches and a custom stucco of the Los Angeles skyline. At the center, a suspended chandelier crowns a spiraled staircase that guides guests to all three levels.
“Our new Gearys Rolex Boutique on Rodeo Drive is a work of art, but my favorite part would have to be the grand staircase,” Tom Blumenthal, Gearys CEO and president, shares. “I love how the wooden railings echo Rolex’s iconic fluted bezel design, while the chandelier at the center of the staircase creates a stunning display from every angle. It is an elegant and symbolic centerpiece that truly elevates the entire space.” The second-floor aftersales service area dives guests further into the world of Rolex. When not relaxing in the seating areas, guests can witness watchmaking firsthand or pore over the brand’s history and influence across society and culture by taking a close look at displayed videos, books and images.
“We now have an opportunity to create new experiences for clients,” Blumenthal adds. “Freshly baked desserts and hors d’oeuvres greet guests as they ascend the staircase, while craft cocktails and custom juices are served from our stylish bar. Simultaneously, relaxing seating areas throughout the store offer an elevated level of hospitality, creating a luxurious—yet welcoming—environment for the enjoyment of all guests.” Private spaces on the second level also ensure an intimate experience, while the third-floor rooftop fosters a social setting for enthused collectors.
“Time is the most precious gift we can give, and this new boutique embodies that philosophy,” says Blumenthal. “It allows us to dedicate our time to creating personalized, engaging experiences for every guest. Whether they are seasoned Rolex collectors or aspiring enthusiasts, the boutique offers more than just a retail destination—it provides us with a way to thoughtfully cater to everyone’s interests in a unique way.”
