THE PARTY From chefs to critics, guests gathered in the private dining room for a feast to toast the launch of Gilt Taste, the new foodie-focused site from Gilt Groupe. THE PLAYERS Gilt Groupe chairwoman Susan Lyne, Gilt Taste Editorial Advisor Ruth Reichl, Osteria Mozza’s Nancy Silverton, Patina’s Joachim Splichal THE HIGHLIGHTS Dyed-in-the-wool Reichl told Splichal that she went so far as to accept a magazine assignment in the early ’80s that involved having lunch with Nixon crony H.R.
