Sight and sound collided in impeccable fashion at The Standard, Hollywood for the launch of Warby Parker’s first Best Coast boutique. Guests were greeted with wristbands and room keys, granting them after-hours access to the first-floor store and a hotel room down the hall. Here, they soaked in cocktails, candy and exclusive performances by musicians in the Artists in Residence program, a collaborative venture between the hotel and the eyeglass experts. “I never get to escape into a hotel and write music,” said singer Sidd Khosla of the partnership. “It was pretty liberating.” So, too, was the finale, a swanky poolside bash where guests indulged in more music and merrymaking.
