Irina Shayk stuns in the Aqua Aura dress from H&M’s latest Conscious Exclusive Collection.
Sustainability might be fashion’s favorite buzzword, but it’s much more than a passing trend. For proof, look no further than the launch of H&M’s ninth Conscious Exclusive Collection. Crafted with three new materials–Piñatex, a natural leather alternative made with fibers extracted from pineapple leaves; Orange Fiber, a silky fabric produced from citrus juice byproducts; and BLOOM Foam, a plant-based foam created with algae biomass—the 48-piece line was inspired by—what else?—nature. To celebrate, Irina Shayk, Rowan Blanchard, Amber Valletta and Alek Wek modeled the designs at a Hollywood Hills fete. The brand’s creative advisor, Ann-Sofie Johansson, joined the fun, posing with actress Dakota Fanning as DJ Nikki Pennie provided the evening’s beats. Crystal readings, an herb bar and sound bath performances rounded out the earthy affair.
