For the first time ever, The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Los Angeles hosts the city’s highest yoga class taking place on the hotel’s helipad. Part of the summer Wellness Retreat, the sky-high experience begins 653 ft. above ground on the 55th floor of the luxurious downtown Los Angeles hotel. Guests have unobstructed views, ranging from the Griffith Observatory and Hollywood sign to the Pacific Ocean, whether in downward dog or tree pose.
Leading the rooftop yoga is ERYT 500 Yoga Alliance certified teacher Rachel Jackson. The breath-taking experience continues with meditation and relaxation in the spa’s zen sanctuary, followed by a 50-minute spa treatment of choice, fresh-pressed juice and spa cuisine lunch to complete an over the top afternoon. Space is limited to only 10 guests and a spot can be reserved for $295 by calling the spa at 213.743.8800.
