Infamous Hollywood Hills home “House of Sins” has made its way to the market at $10.2 million.
Previous owner photographer Richard Franklin, known for his style of abstract cosmic photography, is listing House of Sins after nearly three decades.
The home gained its nickname for being the most eclectic place in L.A and its well-known reputation in pop culture. During Franklin’s time in the home, he photographed over 600 models and celebrities throughout the space.
It was also featured in a number of films and reality TV shows and the plethora of avant-garde fashion shoots, including by Kim Kardashian.
The home is measured at 7,500-square-feet and is made of five bedrooms, six bathrooms, mysterious halls and a vivid interior. Standing at eight stories tall, it has a variety of entertaining and inspiring floors to choose from.
An artist in his own right, Franklin certainly added his personal creative touches to the electric Hollywood Hill house. The home takes inspiration from psychedelic times in the 1960s and splashes of ‘90s neon colors and shapes certainly live up to the home’s name.
Starting from the rooftop, House of Sin features a deck and pool next to a love swing just over L.A. city lights. It has its own private theater for a romantic night under mood setting lights and reclinable leather seats with space also big enough for fun group screenings. For other romantic evenings, there is a warm fireplace, indoor spa and a chef’s kitchen.
Its entertainment rooms include vibrant lounges, dancing studio, mini-casino and black-light disco nightclub and gold-layered hallways that lead to a Hugh Hefner-style grotto room. Other parts of the home lead to beautiful scenic views of both the ocean and Hollywood Hills.
The home is only a few minutes; drive to the Sunset Strip for shopping, restaurants and more entertainment options.
