This September, Hozier brings his Unreal Unearth Tour to Los Angeles for three nights. Read on for everything you need to know about attending.
The Basics
Hozier will play at the Kia Forum on Sept. 17, 18 and 20. With the concert starting at 7:30 p.m., Allison Russel will open the show.
Bag Policy
The Kia Forum is a cashless venue with a clear bag policy. To carry any belongings, you’re allowed a clear bag sized up to 12” x 6” or non-clear wristlets/clutches that are sized up to 9” x 6.” You can also bring a gallon-sized plastic bag.
Arrival
Before heading out, download your tickets to your digital wallet for a smooth entry. Then, make your commute plan. If you drive, you can buy a parking pass now. You can also arrive a little early to search for a spot at nearby, but offsite surface lots. On the other hand, if you opt for the L.A. Metro Bus Lines, take the 211/215 to the Prairie/Manchester or Prairie/Kelso stops. Alternatively, if you take a rideshare service like Uber, map your drive to the dedicated ride-share pick-up/drop-off lot located at lot H.
If you have general admission tickets and are hoping to get a good spot, overnight camping is not allowed, but you can arrive as early as 9 a.m. the day of the concert. Between then and noon, early GA wristbands will be distributed to eager fans, who can then queue for the line between 3 and 4 p.m. The line-up will take place near parking lot C of the Forum lot. Review all the rules in advance.
Where to Eat
You’ll be all set to eat at the Forum if you’re looking to snack on popcorn, hot dogs, tacos and other standard arena concessions. The terrace opens at 5 p.m. too, so you’ll have plenty of time to hang out and eat if you arrive early. On the other hand, you can also plan to eat at a nearby place if you prefer a standard restaurant experience. Check out Dulan’s, 1010 Wine & Events or Sunday Gravy for your pre-concert meal. See our full list of nearby recommended restaurants.
What to Expect
Based on recent shows, Hozier will likely hit the stage around 8:50 p.m. His set spans about 22 songs, which includes cameos from opener Allison Russell, and features songs from across his discography including “Take Me To Church,” “Cherry Wine” and “Nina Cried Power.”
The Kia Forum is located at 3900 W Manchester Blvd 90305.
