Australian fashion brand Oucast Clothing corralled Gabriette, Audrina Patridge, Kelly Cutrone, Denzel Dion, Tela Dunn and more to the Bardot in Hollywood for a one-night-only party that had one rule: no phones allowed. The exclusive event kept the night alive with an invigorating DJ lineup and performance by Soulja Boy.
On April 4, the first-ever Vinivia Awards took place at Optimist Studios where top content creators were recognized for their work. The evening treated attendees to a performance by Tyga and winners took home $10,000 grand prizes. Attendees included Winnie Harlow, Jasmine Tooks, Elsa Hosk, Kelly Rowland and Charli and Dixie D’Amelio.
Isabel Marant commemorated 30 years of the brand and her return to Los Angeles with a dinner at the Chateau Marmont on April 10. The intimate gathering welcomed Kate Bosworth, Justin Long, Laura Harrier, Amine, Ashley Graham, Gabbriette, Nico Hiraga, Eli Brown, KiKi Layne, Delaney Rowe, Delfin Finley, Honey Dijon and Myles Hendrick, among others, and featured a performance by The Marias.
Demi Moore and Wallis Annenberg were honored at An Unforgettable Evening gala on April 10 at the Beverly Wilshire. Benefiting The Women’s Cancer Research Fund, the evening was hosted by Tig Notaro and featured a performance by Sting. The guest list included Alina Cho, Ashley Greene, Carly Steel, Chord Overstreet, Crystal Kung Minkoff, Cynthia Bailey, Gigi Gharai, Jesse Johnson, Jonathan “Foodgod” Cheban, Jonathan Simkhai, Josh Flagg, Justin Sylvester, Kathy & Rick Hilton, Kayla Ewell, Keni Silva, Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Lori Loughlin, Melanie Griffith, Monique Lhuillier, Martin & Kelly Katz, Nia Vardalos, Olivia Jade, Rachel Zoe, Sofia Vergara, Tanner Novlan, Trudie Styler and more.
Presented by Bvlgari, the 2024 MOCA Gala drew over a thousand guests to The Geffen Contemporary on April 13 and raised $3 million for the museum. Attracting Ava DuVernay, Kim Gordon, David Alan Grier, Miranda July, Esthella Provas, Keanu Reeves, Keni Silva and more, the evening featured a performance by St. Vincent, dinner, an immersive environment by L.A.-based artist Max Hooper Schneider and an after party DJ’s by Kilo Kish and Kitty Ca$h.
In partnership with Hasbro, Bobbi Althoff hosted a game night on April 17 to celebrate the release of her new game. Welcoming her close friends and other influencers and content creators, guests laughed the night away between rounds of Fork Milk Kidnap.
To commemorate one year of its party Gag, Sunset at Edition hosted The 1975’s George Daniel, DJ Alex Chapman, Charli XCX, Zoe Gitter and Sophia Ziskin on the turntables while guests danced the night away under the disco ball ceiling. Attendees included Rickey Thompson, Fai Khadra and Mette Towley.
On April 25, Chloe Cherry made her DJ debut at Bar Lis in Hollywood. The Euphoria actress showed up for the Hollywood rooftop’s weekly Demon Nights event alongside DJ Diablo.
On April 28, Chrissy Teigen threw a Mad Hatter-inspired Mother’s Day tea party. Guests and their families—including Mindy Kaling and Jen Atkin—were treated to Craving baked goods and other delights from the Ninja Thirsti Drink System, Gonna Need Milk, POM and Jimmy John's. In addition to a performance by none other than John Legend, adults had fun with tarot card reading, massages and bouquet making with Teleflora, while kids enjoyed airbrush tattoos, a balloon artist, cotton candy and a Build-A-Bear activation.
The Kids Mental Health Foundation Family Celebration Day took place on April 28 at The Americana at Brand. Happening just ahead of the start of Mental Health Awareness Month, the event welcomed the likes of Alexandra Daddario, Ashley Eckstein, Daniel Franzese, Lisa Ling, Sam DeRosa, Soleil Moon Frye and featured various creative and wellness activations.
