L.A. debut of Maison St-Germain

| September 19, 2017 | Parties

The L.A. debut of Maison St-Germain blossomed at the iconic Houdini Estate.

THE PARTY In celebration of the 1,000 elderflowers used to make one bottle of St-Germain, landscape artist Lily Kwong teamed up with the spirits brand to dream up a mystical setting—deemed Maison St-Germain—that came complete with floral installations, entertaining magicians and even tarot card readers. THE SCENE Guests like Dita Von Teese and Michelle Trachtenberg cruised the avant garden in black frocks while Olivia Culpo, Rocky Barnes and Elizabeth Henstridge all opted for summer white ensembles for the invite-only affair. THE HIGHLIGHTS From the larger-than-life “Light Maison” installation to the dazzling performance by dance company No)one. Art House, the chic crowd was greeted with grandeur at every turn. Signature cocktails emerged from behind a greenery-covered wall while the magicians performed in a cagelike terrace overlooking the grand entrance, ensuring that, from beginning to end, every little thing was purely magical. -Shontel Horne
