The holidays are all about coming together, and Los Angeles’ top hotels are ensuring just that. Welcoming long-time locals and visiting tourists alike, Shutters on the Beach, The Beverly Hilton and the Peninsula Beverly Hills are offering guests a full schedule of holiday festivities. Head to any (or all!) of these L.A. resort gems for a guaranteed time of merriment, special dinners and Christmas activities. Whether you’re looking for holiday-themed brunch or family photos with Santa, these three hotels have you covered.
See below for all the details about the festive programming.
Warm up this holiday season at iconic Santa Monica Beach hotel’s Shutters on the Beach. Guests and locals alike can nestle into the big leather couches and get cozy by the fireplace at Shutters’ Living Room, complete with live entertainment every night and holiday cocktails with a view of the Pacific Ocean. Try the Romp on the Beach Cocktail, a variation of a holiday Eggnog from Puebla, Mexico, or enjoy Christmas brunch and dinner at Shutters’ oceanfront restaurant 1 Pico, which will highlight holiday classics with a twist from new executive chef Sean Michael Runyon. This year, Shutters on the Beach will also celebrate its connection to the sea during festive season. The iconic luxury beach house’s holiday decor will be awash in a spectrum of sea foam and ocean blues with accents of silver and white gold. Beachy surprises will add a sense of whimsy throughout, and the Shutters Christmas Train will arrive at its station in the Living Room December 1st to bring out the kid in all of us.
Take in the views of Beverly Hills and enjoy nearby shopping on Rodeo Drive with a stay at The Beverly Hilton this holiday season. In addition to family friendly packages in partnership with Disney and spacious newly renovated suites, guests can enjoy Christmas brunch and Christmas dinner at signature poolside restaurant, CIRCA 55. Christmas dinner is available on December 25 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. featuring seasonal soups and salads, such as the Candy Cane Beet Salad with raw and roasted candy striped beets, a seafood display, carving station and more ($80 per person, $35 for children). Additionally, brunch is offered from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. featuring carving stations and seafood selections, as well as fresh baked goods and an expansive breakfast buffet.
