Bar Nineteen12 at The Beverly Hills Hotel
After a two-year closure, The Beverly Hills Hotel’s beloved Bar Nineteen12— named after the year the hotel opened—is back featuring a new menu and sleek redesign. Located off the lobby of the iconic hotel, Bar Nineteen12 now includes a sweeping garden-inspired outdoor terrace, while its interior boasts rotating art exhibitions. Following a display of never-before-seen Andy Warhol images also for sale, the bar will next display photographer Jean Pigozzi’s work from Feb. 13 to May 15. Guests can enjoy sunset pool and palm tree views while sipping signature cocktails that pay homage to the community’s neighborhoods, such as the Beverly Glen or the Benedict Canyon, paired with elevated California bites from executive chef Pedro Contreras. Open Tuesday through Saturday from 3 to 11PM, the bar will also offer live music from 6 to 10PM. dorchestercollection.com

Hotel Per La
Housed in the former Giannini Building in Downtown L.A.—originally the 1922-built Bank of Italy headquarters—HN Capital Partners and Sage Hospitality Group’s sleek new lifestyle property features 241 Italian-influenced guest rooms and suites, as well as approachable public spaces designed in the building’s neoclassical style. The name “Per La,” meaning “for the” in Italian, references the former Nomad hotel’s roots as a bank for the people as well as its mission of inclusivity. Visit Per L’Ora, the hotel’s neighborhood restaurant, for Italian cuisine translated through an L.A. lens; Bar Clara, the casual rooftop bar, for Mediterranean-inspired fare and poolside cocktails; or Café Ora, the coffee shop and market, for delicious pastries and snacks. hotelperla.com

Palihouse West Hollywood
Avi Brosh hadn’t been looking for a space in which to revive his debut property, Palihouse West Hollywood—which had been a mainstay on Holloway for nearly 15 years. However, he seized an opportunity during the pandemic to transform the former Orlando Hotel on West Third Street into the newest neighborhood-centric Palisociety property. Designed in the brand’s signature blend of European opulence meets California ease, the new Palihouse West Hollywood features 95 guest rooms, a swanky indoor-outdoor pool lounge and two dining destinations. Visit the stylish signature Lobby Lounge Café and Bar for an all-day California-inspired menu, or enjoy Japanese finger foods, pressed sushi and hand rolls at Mezzanine Sushi—a chic sake bar tucked away upstairs. palisociety.com
