An L.A. State of Mind

| April 3, 2013 | Parties

THE PARTY Following a 12-year hiatus from the City of Angels, Tommy Hilfiger marked the opening of his 6,000-square-foot Robertson boutique with a high-profile, in-store party and a memorable after-hours affair at Soho House. THE PLAYERS Tommy and Dee Hilfiger, Owen Wilson, Kristin Davis, Neil Patrick Harris, Olivia Munn, Katy Perry, Ludo and Krissy Lefebvre THE HIGHLIGHTS The evening began for many with a cocktail hour at the new Tommy Hilfiger West Coast flagship hosted by Hilfiger, his wife, Jessica Alba and Cash Warren, Zooey Deschanel, Elizabeth Stewart and Maria Arena Bell. Friends, including Lisa Vanderpump and Drew Barrymore—whose pinot grigio was poured for the celebration—mingled throughout the space. The festivities continued at Soho House, where Alicia Keys serenaded the well-heeled crowd with hits including “No One” and “Empire State of Mind.” This was followed by a surprise performance from Guns N’ Roses, as Axl Rose took to the stage and belted out classics including “Welcome to the Jungle,” “Patience,” and, at the request of Dee Hilfiger, “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door.” Photography by Stefanie Keenan and Mark Davis/Getty Images
