Ladies Who Lunch

| June 21, 2011 | Parties National

The eighth annual P.S. ARTS Bag Lunch, hosted at the Santa Monica residence of Heather Thomas Brittenham. The Party: Greeted with Moët & Chandon Imperial minis, more than 200 dressed-to-impress ladies arrived with bidding skills and checkbooks in hand for the occasion. Sponsored by Dior Beauty, the event raised $150,000—in less than two hours—for P.S. ARTS to restore arts education in public schools. The Players: Hosts Dianne Vavra, Elizabeth Stewart, George Kotsiopoulos, Heather Thomas Brittenham, Kristin Davis and Jen Rade; celeb guests Sharon Stone, Sophia Bush, Calista Flockhart, Lisa Rinna, Emmy Rossum, Abigail Spencer, Perrey Reeves, Kaley Cuoco, Shiva Rose, Jodi Lyn O’Keefe. The Scene: While the Chanel clutches may have been the first to go, the auction block provided more than 225 opportunities for guests to bid on bags by Givenchy, Chloé, Valentino and more. The event also marked the launch of the new Lady Dior limited-edition eye shadow palette, in stores this month. The Highlights: Mad Men’s Abigail Spencer, sporting wide-leg sunshine yellow Sportmax “happy pants,” lost a bidding war to Entourage’s Perrey Reeves. Meanwhile, a Dior-clad Sharon Stone, who bought three bags, shared beauty tips at the Dior Nail Bar.
