Three new L.A. beauty launches offer a quick and effective path to looking fresh without harmful chemicals.
New ayurvedic skincare line Ranavat Botanics was inspired by lavish beauty traditions developed for India's royal family.

The beloved nontoxic nail salon has opened a second L.A. location on Fairfax near Melrose. The sunny space—filled with palm-tree motifs and pops of neon—features a menu full of luxurious services. Opt for the Luxe Coat pedicure, which includes an essential-oil foot soak and an exfoliating sugar scrub. Chic nails with no harmful chemicals? We’re in!

This high-end natural skincare line has come out with a new Green Ceremony cleanser. The brand’s French-born, L.A.-based founder, Valerie Grandury, was inspired to create the powder-to-foam matcha, spirulina, aloe vera and honey cleanser after attending a tea ceremony in Kyoto, Japan. She incorporated principles of the ceremony into the cleansing ritual, which includes activating the powder in a small bowl and facial massage.

Ranavat Botanics
New L.A.-based, ayurveda-inspired beauty line Ranavat Botanics is launching with six USDA-certified organic powder masks and facial sprays. The antioxidant-,vitamin- and mineral-rich Kiss of Royal Tea mask rejuvenates, while the saffron- and turmeric-infused Flawless Veil version works to create an even complexion; jasmine, lavender and eucalyptus “Toniques,” as founder Michelle Ranavat dubs them, subsequently hydrate, detoxify and illuminate the skin.
