THE PARTY To christen its dazzling new digs on South La Brea Avenue, contemporary art space Kayne Griffin Corcoran rolled out its inaugural exhibition, James Turrell’s Sooner Than Later, Roden Crater. THE PLAYERS James Corcoran, Annie Philbin, Marin Hopper, Scott Sternberg, Steve Tisch, Moby THE HIGHLIGHTS Mingling in the skylit gallery he also helped design, Turrell discussed the installation—a display of drawings, photographs, models and equipment associated with his ongoing naked-eye space observatory project in the Roden Crater near Flagstaff, Ariz.
