The end of February ushers in a celebration of art across the city. From the highly anticipated Freize Los Angeles to independent art fairs and more, here is what to do during Los Angeles Art Week.

Felix Art Fair will transform the Hollywood Roosevelt into an art epicenter from Feb. 19 to 23. Highlighting contemporary art, the 2025 Los Angeles edition will feature more than 60 exhibitors from Berlin, Bucharest, Chicago, Dallas, Kyiv, London, Los Angeles, New York, Paris, Turin, Montreal and more galleries around the world. Turning the Santa Monica Aiport into an expansive contemporary art celebration, Frieze Los Angeles 2025 will take place from Feb. 20 to 23. The multi-day art fair will bring together more than 95 international and local galleries. Among the wide range of solo and curated stands, there will be many honoring the spirit of L.A. and highlighting our city’s artists. In particular, English gallery Victoria Miro will have a space for galleries participating in the fair to come together and raise funds for fire relief efforts by donating works to be sold in aid of the LA Arts Community Fire Relief Fund. Other programming highlights include Focus, a section curated by Essence Harden that will feature 12 emerging galleries; “Only in Darkness,” a city-wide project by Coco Fusco that explores race, gender and colonialism; the Black Trustee Alliance x Frieze Los Angeles – Land Memories initiative, which showcases the legacy of Atladena’s Black community and Art Production Fund’s public program, which invites Angelenos to visit works placed throughout the park for free. From Feb. 19 to 23, the LA Art Show will take over the Los Angeles Convention Center’s South Hall to present the country's most comprehensive international contemporary art show. Spanning sculptures, illustrations, paintings and more, featured exhibitions include the metalwork of Steel Che (Youngkwan Choi) presented by Art in Dongsan, The Nature of Art presented by Coral Gallery and “She, Unbroken” presented by Snisarenko Gallery. The LA Art Show will commence with an opening night premiere gala in benefit of the American Heart Assoc. Hosted by actress and producer Jenna Dewan, the evening will include access to an early look at the LA Art Show, bites, beverages, the VIP lounge and unlimited admission on regular show days. Tickets are available now. Furthermore, the LA Art Show is with the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund in its fundraising efforts and will encourage donations to the non-profit during the show.

Starting Feb. 19, The MAK Center for Art and Architecture, Los Angeles will present Helmut Lang’s first solo institutional exhibition at the Schindler House. What remains behind, a series of free-standing sculptures, will be on view until May 4. While the Feb. 19 opening reception welcomes walk-ins, the event is currently at capacity and entry is not guaranteed.

Presented by SaatchiArt.com, The Other Art Fair will unfold in Atwater Village from Feb. 20 to 23. The unique event brings together 140 independent artists (and a fully stocked bar) for a weekend illuminated by original and affordable pieces, immersive installations, performances and DJs. Tickets are available now and 100 percent of proceeds from Friday late tickets will be donated the LA Arts Community Fire Relief Fund.

Post-Fair will pilot its alternative three-day art fair from Feb. 20 to 22. Featuring 29 local, national and international galleries, it aims to simplify the art fair experience by emphasizing solo presentations.

The only West Coast gallery specializing in South Asian Art, Rajiv Menon Contemporary will debut its Hollywood gallery space with Exhibitionism, a group show that explores privacy, visibility and intimacy. It runs Feb. 17 to March 30.
